Education for Nursing Care
1. Course Summary/Outline
This course is put together to enable students to acquire basic knowledge about caring for the elderly, the right attitude as a caregiver, the ability to deal with them, as well as the necessary technical skills in the job.
2. OBJECTIVE
Students are expected to acquire holistic and comprehensive basic knowledge of nursing care for the elderly, as well as the proper mental set and attitude within the three-month course.
3. TRAINING CONTENT
- deepen one’s understanding of the elderly
- study the psychological and physiological condition of the elderly
- acquire the essential basic nursing skills for caregivers
Basic Japanese Training ( 1 Month)
reading and writing hiragana and katakana
- greetings and conversation
- Japanese language communication
Training in Japanese Language for Nursing Care (Included in the 3-month Nursing Care Program)
Basic Nursing-care Terminologies
- Hospital and Nursing-care Facility Terminologies
- Terminologies used in Human body, Disease and Healthcare
- Japanese Conversation in the Patient’s Room
- Japanese for Recreation.
- Japanese for Nursing Care.
Communication with the Elderly
- Words Used in Social Courtesy and Greetings
- Japanese Used in everyday Living and Shopping
- Basic Exercises for Writing Nursing-care Report
